ArchitTrek Software to Launch by Late 2008

9/30/2008 — ArchitTrek, new software designed to provide seamless and transparent management of design and construction projects, will be launched by late 2008.

Owned by ArchitTrek, LLC, the software revolutionizes the way businesses manage, communicate and collaborate during construction projects, providing immediate access to any project document, easy exchange of ideas and uploading of documents to anyone involved in the project via internet access.It was developed by a Baton Rouge company with an architectural background.

Some of the benefits of ArchitTrek are the ability to easily disseminate information to the entire team, the ability to check and generate multiple construction logs at any time, direct web access to critical job information, and real time availability of construction progress and costs. In addition, its paperless nature promotes sustainability initiatives of many in the construction and design industry.

ArchitTrek is designed for firms involved in construction projects, including architectural, interior design firms, engineers, contractors, and related businesses. “ArchitTrek has been in development and testing for six years at an architectural firm and is specifically designed for the construction industry,” said ArchitTrek, LLC partner Jerry Hebert, who is an architect. “We have put it through the paces with extensive use and made extensive updates that provide huge benefits and time saving on projects.”

Greg Kleinpeter, manager of ArchitTrek, noted that the software maintains and organizes all project documents and drawings, which facilitates communication, provides project response reminder services and needs no special operating system or installation. Kleinpeter formerly served as regional vice president of sales for Bizzuka web service provider and before that as a business development manager of AEPlans, an architectural plans download program.
